The tours that you see here are ones that we have have lead to Peru and Ecuador for Royal Heights Tours. We start our tours in Lima where we spend the first day visiting historic sites in the City. From there we fly to Cuzco and, the next day, visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas. From here we board a train which takes us to the village of Aguas Caliente which is located just below Machu Picchu. After a short bus ride to the top of the mountain, we spend the rest of the day visiting one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Returning to Lima, we fly on to Ecuador and, after a day visiting the city of Quito, we make our way by bus into the Amazon Basin where we spend a few days at a lodge by the river. During this time, we do jungle walks and enjoy the warm climate of the area. Our tour continues as we drive down the central part of Ecuador all the way to Cuenca, famous for making the Panama Hat. Flying back to Quito from Cuenca, we travel North of the city to visit Cuenca, one of the largest inian markets in South America. From here we return to Cuenca where Marilyn and I fly home and the rest of the group travels on unescorted to the Galapagos Islands. This is a very short description of our route and, one day, we will write a detailed description of the tour so that you can follow along if you wish. |
